More Doubleweave on Four

Beyond the many techniques that can be woven with the basic 4-shaft doubleweave draft with a light and dark layer, there are several exciting 4-shaft techniques that can be created by changing the threading, the color patterns, or both. In this round robin workshop we will weave samples in four colors, four color block rotation, double blocks with layer exchange, tubular and folded log cabin, and overshot-patterned doubleweave. Theory lessons will make clear how to draft with these techniques to create your own original designs.
Level-Beginning to intermediate
Students will bring a 4-shaft table or floor loom warped according to instructions
